Crystal Super or Dream Air for sim racing?
The Crystal Super is Pimax's flagship, and the one to look at if outright clarity matters more than weight. The bundled DMAS speakers are a genuine addition rather than a token. The Dream Air is the lighter option, at around 170g, and is the headset used day to day on this channel.
The video below compares the Crystal Super directly with the Dream Air. If you are unsure which suits your rig and your sims, ask in the free Discord before you buy, because someone there will have run your exact setup.
Crystal Super vs Dream Air, head to head.
Why buy through the ambassador link

- Fast UK delivery now that Pimax ship locally
- The same testing standard as everything on the channel. Nothing gets recommended that has not been used for real sessions
Crystal Super discount code FAQ
What is the Pimax Crystal Super discount code?
Use code NLSimgaming. Through the Crystal Super button on this page the discount is applied automatically, and you can also enter NLSimgaming at checkout on the Pimax store.
Does the code work on other Pimax headsets?
Yes. The same code is applied automatically on the Dream Air, Dream Air SE and Crystal Light through the links on the main Pimax page.
Can I take a free year of iRacing instead of the discount?
Yes. Instead of the discount you can take a 12-month iRacing subscription using code NLSIMGaming12 at checkout. If you already pay for iRacing, the subscription is often worth more, so compare the two before ordering.
Should I buy the Crystal Super or the Dream Air?
The Crystal Super suits you if outright clarity matters most. The Dream Air is lighter, at around 170g. The comparison video on this page and the free Discord can help you decide.
Does the Crystal Super ship to the UK?
Yes. Pimax ships from local warehouses, so UK orders are delivered locally rather than from China. Deliveries can slow down around Chinese national holidays.
What if there is a problem with my order?
If you bought through the ambassador link, send your Pimax order number privately on Discord and it will be raised directly with the Pimax representative. Please do not post order details publicly.
