Is the Pimax Dream Air SE worth it for sim racing?
The Dream Air SE is the newer sibling of the Dream Air. It has Tobii eye tracking and SLAM inside-out tracking, so there are no base stations to set up. The video below tests it across iRacing, AMS2, Assetto Corsa and AC Evo, measures the field of view, and looks at whether the revised facial interface fixes the comfort complaints.
Weighing it against another headset? The Quest 3 vs Dream Air guide shows how the Dream Air range compares on field of view, clarity and comfort. After ordering, the Pimax setup and fix guide is the place to start if anything is not behaving.

Dream Air SE discount code FAQ
What is the Pimax Dream Air SE discount code?
Use code NLSimgaming. Through the Dream Air SE button on this page the discount is applied automatically, and you can also enter NLSimgaming at checkout on the Pimax store.
Does the code work on other Pimax headsets?
Yes. The same code is applied automatically on the Dream Air, Crystal Super and Crystal Light through the links on the main Pimax page.
Can I take a free year of iRacing instead of the discount?
Yes. Instead of the discount you can take a 12-month iRacing subscription using code NLSIMGaming12 at checkout. If you already pay for iRacing, the subscription is often worth more, so compare the two before ordering.
Do I need base stations for the Dream Air SE?
No. The Dream Air SE uses SLAM inside-out tracking, so there are no base stations to set up.
Does the Dream Air SE ship to the UK?
Yes. Pimax ships from local warehouses, so UK orders are delivered locally rather than from China. Deliveries can slow down around Chinese national holidays.
What if there is a problem with my order?
If you bought through the ambassador link, send your Pimax order number privately on Discord and it will be raised directly with the Pimax representative. Please do not post order details publicly.
